Bless you and your beautiful wife and children. So neat that you have built such a lovely family together!

In regards to the poor horse, it's unfortunate, but surviving the accident is only the beginning of his suffering as he heads below the border where his life will no doubt be work, strife, and misery ending at a glue factory or worse.

How sad that his people cared so little for him to sell him and send him with people who have now already shown their lack of judgement and ability to care for the animal and he's just on the trip portion of his journey!

Unfortunate that the almighty, or should I say weakened and almost worthless, dollar needed by the sellers of this horse has doomed this dear animal to a horrible journey on his way to suffering and hell the rest of his days.

Bless you for caring about horses, so then you probably know of what awaits, the poor sweet creature, south of the border where animals are consistently treated harshly and neglectfully, if not more often than not, abused.

Peace, love and no more suffering in the world! It's nice to read about you and your family making a difference for goodness, kindness and caring.

Namaste (The God within me salutes the God within you).

I'm completely with you on the feeling the compassion for animals sometimes more than people! Glad you were able to help the horse and all is well! Thanks for sharing!

Oh, I'm so glad that the horse was O.K. I too seem to be more sympathetic towards animals, they look toward us for protection, and I'm so glad you were able to help him/her? get out safely.
I have read back on some of your posts y'all have a beautiful family! Best wishes for the newest member to come soon! There's nothing like a little girl, we have two, she will have you wrapped around her little finger in no time!
