Races
Races – From his days as an All-Conference safety for the Golden Buffaloes of the University of Colorado to his brief NFL career, Ryan has always had a competitive spirit. These days his thirst for competition is quenched as an amateur participant in just about anything he can find. Ryan has completed numerous triathlons including the 2004 Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, participates regularly in local mountain bike, trail running and snowshoe series, and would one day like to run the New York Marathon. Ryan gains inspiration for his events from the efforts of First Descents and supports that organization through race based fund raising.

Expeditions
Ryan’s lust for adventure has lead him trekking all-around his home state of Colorado. He recently completed a climb up and snowboard decent down South America’s largest mountain Aconcaqua and has hopes to climb all of the planet’s highest peaks. Almost as important as the climb itself in the appreciation for the natural environment that makes it all possible. All of Ryan’s efforts have an environmental aspect including his role as a member of the board of advisers for The Future of Life.
